Thanks for your thoughtful comment, Bloggy.

To comment on living in the moment: Everything is easier said than done, but living in the moment is especially hard because we're not accustomed to it, and don't practice it. When our thoughts wander towards past or present, we either overstay our visit to these two places, or try to rush out of them without reaching complete closure.

If there's something in the past that's troubling you, it's OK to think about it and resolve it. But the aim should be to resolve it and not to relive it. Again and again.

This requires practice and a great deal of mental and emotional conditioning, but it is possible. If not perfectly, at least to a far greater degree than we currently experience. I'm not there myself, but I am working towards it.

I'm still struggling with writing that book!

And you can't promise you'll buy it, eh? And you wonder why I'd kick your PC! :P

congrats on the new theme :D

I think people just operate on extremes, I don't claim I don't struggle on the contrary I don't know what I'm doing most of the time :P

I'm commenting on point based on my life experience so far and your analysis.

1. Sometimes your brain just sets on the safe choice and your heart on the impossible. Some make the impossible happen but most don't. I agree on "need more information", but I guess so much comes in any decision, for example, how much risk can you take, can you deal with the consequences of things going wrong if you follow your gut!

2. "appreciate the stillness of your existence" is the default mentality of our society.

3. We only deal with extremes, being selfish or selfless. Sometimes you got to be selfish and sometimes you go to think about others.

4. I totally agree, how do you know what '1' is if you don't get to know what '0' is ;)

5. Easier said than do. I think it is because you don't have control over the future and you can't change the past, so you are always there! I'll do this and that in the future and when it comes, it's the present and I'm still thinking about the future and when it passes, I still think about how it could have turned out if I did what I planned or something else!!! See, easier said than done.

6. This is a good point. I think if people want others to accept them as they are, then they should accept that other people don't accept them :P In some cases of course. If you wan to be rude and obnoxious and atop that want people to accept you, then you should have an open mind about people being polite and sensitive and not accepting you or rather your rudeness. You can not put a rule for acceptance. There are limits, some things are not accepted and one should change them.

7. I LOVE this point. You know how people can create their own reality. Go buy a video game that let's you do that! As you said, you are in a world with so many interactions. You have people, rules, etc. You try to do your thing, but you have to bend and be willing to adjust. If it were up to me and I wanted to create my own reality, I would buy myself an Island, but I'll still be living in this world and being affected by it, so if someone decides to pollute seas/air or strikes nuclear warheads, bye bye own-reality :D

I'm totally with you regarding the need to develop your own perspective through reasoning, understanding and experiences. And most importantly develop ourselves.

btw, you should write a book, you have so much to say from a different angle, though I don't promise that I'll buy it :P
