Digging deeper into the self-image, in this video I look at what makes up a self-image, and how we can take a different approach so that we can realize the choice we are able to make, rather than be limited with the self-image we live by.

Another great identification, sir. These videos are something great to look forward to every day π
Thanks, Fawaz!
And I’m enjoying the process of preparing them! π
So you asked us in your last episode to characterize ourselves (aka “labeling”). Now, after characterizing myself, you tell me that it’s not a good thing! Back stabber >:(
lol, just kidding, keep it up, you’re doing great!

AnxiousNut, I’m surprised “anxious” didn’t appear on either of your lists! π
Just to be clear, I wanted you to recognize the labels you place on yourself, so you can explicitly acknowledge that they aren’t true.
And thank you for your words of encouragement! π
@Haider: I really dont understand how lists in twitter work, but hey, I got an Anxiety page on facebook! Though im the only one in XD

AnxiousNut, that’s funny. Funnier still is that “Nut” has over 800 likes! π
LOVE that you can hear your kids in the background π
You are asking too much!
Is it not true that when you repeat the action over and over again, then it is a characteristic! You can’t just label the action here, the label must be taken off and put on one’s self!
Yeah another -ve one of mine, pessimistic!
I’m going to the next video to listen to the “how” part.
Bloggylife, haha! I was gonna point out that my kids were calling me in the background, but wanted to see if anyone would comment on it. π
When you place the label on yourself, you lose sight of your ability to change and abandon that label. It’s as though you can never be or live without that label. But the label belongs to the action, or your behavioral pattern at the moment, and you can choose to abandon that label and live without it.
people keep putting labels on us

True, Nemo. But it’s important to recognize that they don’t truly belong on ourselves, but on our actions and abilities.
