(If you can’t see the video, click through to the post, or check out the YouTube video)

In this video, I look at how life balance can mean different things to different people, what I mean by the term, and why it matters.

If you’re not familiar with Chris Guillebeau and his remarkable work, I suggest you check out his Art of Non-Conformity site (and I’ll be reviewing his book soon).

So, what does life balance mean to YOU?

There are too many places to leave a comment for you; here, Facebook, Twitter, other place I don’t know about yet. Some comment balance is required.
In a recent leadership training we were taught not to try and be good at all of our 16 leadership competencies. It was better to focus on the good ones and be better at them. The rest will follow.
In the ancient game of Go balance gives better chances of success.

Ali, thanks for dropping by.

I prefer comments on the blog, and like it when people share links to my blog on Facebook and Twitter to their friends and followers. :D

It’s definitely wise to focus on your strengths. But there are characteristics that can actually drag you down, which you may need to address first as problem areas. Having said that – and like you said – at times working on another quality or area will help address the problem area itself.

Hey Haider! Great to “see” you again – I’ve been telling the story of the Kuwaiti non-conformist all over America on book tour this fall. Now I can start sending them to your great site. Thanks for mentioning AONC and I’ll look forward to our next non-virtual meeting.

Yours in World Domination,
